Independent research firm expands global operations, by promoting and adding industry veterans to lead research, client services and business development functions

Nucleus Research (NucleusResearch.com), an independent research firm providing financial analysis on corporate information technology (IT) investments, today promoted co-founder Rebecca Wettemann to vice president of research, and appointed industry veterans Dave Brown, Rob Cerulle and Jim Cavanaugh to lead its client services, sales and business development operations. Each of the executives brings significant skills to the fast-growing Nucleus Research, in total representing five decades of work with industry leaders International Data Corporation (IDC), Gartner/Dataquest and AMR Research.

"As a new breed of analyst firm, Nucleus Research is fortunate to gain a combination of new ideas and proven processes represented by our expanded management team," said Ian Campbell, co-founder and chief research officer for Nucleus Research. "The ultimate beneficiary of the combined talents of our management and analyst team are our clients who we help make better IT investment decisions."

Nucleus Research recently expanded its Wellesley, Massachusetts headquarters and extended its presence in Europe with operations in Paris and London.

Nucleus Research combines comprehensive technology expertise with sound and accepted principles of financial analysis to provide companies with truly accurate and untainted ROI information on their IT investments. Unlike typical IT analyst firms, Nucleus Research's ROI methodology is not influenced by vendor dollars and is based on a long-term, iterative process where the numbers are constantly refined with new data. This enables Nucleus to provide companies with the ongoing financial information they need to effectively manage IT systems across the entire lifecycle, from planning and selection through deployment, upgrading and retirement. This approach has led to a growing number of clients adopting Nucleus' ROI assessment methodology as their corporate standard for making IT investment decisions.

In addition to Campbell, the Nucleus Research executive team now includes:
