Benchmark Study: Document Management

Notes and Reports
February 2003 - Report D9

THE BOTTOM LINE

Document management deployments may differ broadly in scale and scope, but no matter the size, DM tends to pay off: Three-quarters of the user companies participating in our benchmark study said the benefits from DM have far outweighed the costs. The biggest paybacks from DM come through faster access to a centralized document repository and via reductions in printing, distribution, and storage costs.
