Nucleus Research examined organizations using Oracle that deployed IBM Cognos software for business intelligence (BI) or performance management (PM) to assess the benefits of combining these two solutions. Nucleus found that by turning to IBM rather than Oracle, these companies indicated they reduced reporting costs, improved productivity, and were able to more broadly deploy the solution.
