IBM's integration package holds a mixed bag

Notes and Reports
March 2003 - Report D22

THE BOTTOM LINE

IBM has repackaged its business integration solution as a set of five modules, formally bringing acquisitions from Holosofx and CrossWorlds under the IBM banner. This "update" appears to be more surface than substance; the changes won't help IBM deliver better ROI than it could six months ago. IBM's offerings are still good enough to make it onto short lists, but many companies will get better bottom-line results with other vendors' solutions.
