Notes and Reports
December 2004 - Report E132

THE BOTTOM LINE

Microsoft will soon discontinue its free support of Windows NT 4.0 and Exchange 5.5, hoping to motivate hangers-on to newer versions. Incentives for migrating to latest Exchange versions will grow in 2005, as Microsoft plans to deliver Microsoft Exchange Edge Services for mail flow management as a standard component in the latest version of Exchange.
