August 2004 - Report E95

THE BOTTOM LINE

Microsoft's new Web Parts and Services Toolkit for SharePoint 2003 may have the potential for an unexpected ROI boost for current customers through a greater level interoperablility between their enterprise applications. The outlook is particularly positive for SAP customers - torn between the robust functionality of iViews and the widespread familiarity of the Microsoft interface - who can finally have their cake and eat it too.
