Many companies achieve early success with a pattern of small service oriented architecture (SOA)-enabled projects. But as the portfolio of assets in an SOA grows, ROI relies on reuse of those services. IT managers can use registries to mature their SOA by broadcasting service availability to developers and regulating how services are used, modified, and deployed.
