THE BOTTOM LINE

The Kronos 4500 Touch ID Terminal provides biometric verification of employees to eliminate "buddy punching," streamline timecard processes, and features employee self-service capabilities that reduce the time spent on human resource and payroll administration tasks. In interviews with companies that have deployed the Kronos 4500 terminal, Nucleus found that the elimination of "buddy punching" saved companies an average of 2.2% of gross payroll. In addition, self-service features in the 4500 saved employees an average of 3 hours per years while reducing the burden on managers by 3 hours per employee and HR staff by an average of 5 hours per HR employee per week.
