As business intelligence continues to be a key technology area for companies, suites that provide integrated capabilities are driving benefits through widening access to business information, and providing the structure to establish standards for how that information is disseminated and analyzed throughout an organization. However, as Microsoft's product release drives commoditization of BI functionality and predictive analytics become more accessible, traditional BI vendors will be challenged to better differentiate the value they provide.
