webMethods Acquires Cerebra

Notes and Reports
August 2006 - Report G55

THE BOTTOM LINE

With its acquisition of Cerebra, webMethods can now offer its customers metadata management functionality. Customers will benefit because repository features will be built into components of Fabric, webMethods’s service-oriented architecture (SOA) suite, at no extra charge. In addition to the cost benefit, customers will be able to improve their ROI on SOA because repositories facilitate service reuse.
