THE BOTTOM LINE

The Iowa Department of Revenue deployed a data warehouse based on Teradata technology so that it could more efficiently track and understand taxpaying behaviors and encourage taxpayer compliance. Use of the warehouse has led to notable increases in revenue collection, along with savings in internal personnel costs.
