EMC launches Data Lake Foundation

On February 19, EMC announced the launch of its Data Lake Foundation. EMC has announced the release of new hardware and software integrations that promise to improve the usability and functionality of Hadoop deployments. With these announcements customers will benefit from increased IT productivity and reduced maintenance costs, however, the solution may only be cost-effective for a limited number of customers.
