Technologies that improve risk avoidance are among the easiest investments to justify in business. In human capital management (HCM), background checking is among the most intuitive of these investments, yielding returns on investment by helping organizations avoid hiring criminals or candidates unqualified for the job. Furthermore, there are innovations to be found in technology for background screening, thus increasing its already demonstrable ROI for the employer deploying it.
