Infor to acquire GT Nexus

On August 11, 2015 Infor announced plans to buy GT Nexus, a cloud-based global commerce platform. With the acquisition Infor gets a network that supports worldwide supply chain visibility to add to its suite of industry-tailored Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. The acquisition expands Infor’s software business from its focus on ERP solutions inside the walls of a single company and towards providing supply chain solutions for multiple companies engaged in extended global enterprise.
