INSIGHT unveils data visualization module for SAILS

On May 19, 2015 INSIGHT Inc. announced the release of a new Data Visualization Module for SAILS, its supply chain design tool. That module addresses a perceived weakness in the SAILS solution – a lack of presentation graphics for model findings. With this development INSIGHT is trying to make its tool easier to use so supply chain managers can more quickly see the results of the data analysis and weigh the tradeoffs for action. Although SAILS provided graphics prior to the release, these enhancements for data presentation should make the application a more competitive product in the market for supply chain design tools.
