By acquiring Empower Software Solutions, Kronos Incorporated tacitly admits that its own technology for time and attendance falls short. This decision by Kronos should give pause to any vendor of technology for human capital management (HCM) that integrates with Kronos for the latter’s alleged ability to handle exceptionally complex rules for time and attendance.
