With the acquisition of Barloworld, LLamasoft Inc. expanded its software menu from supply chain design to include supply chain planning. When LLamasoft finishes overhauling and upgrading acquired applications for inventory optimization and demand replenishment, Nucleus expects the vendor to be well positioned to challenge JDA and Logility in the software category for supply chain planning.
