SAP acquires FieldGlass

On March 26, 2014 SAP AG announced the acquisition of Fieldglass, a technology provider for procuring and managing contingent labor and services. The acquisition adds Fieldglass’s cloud-based vendor management system to SAP’s native HCM suite, to Ariba, SAP’s collaborative procurement solution, and to SuccessFactors, SAP’s cloud-based talent management application. The combination of the solution suites delivers a complete set of applications for customers to manage their workforces throughout the employee lifecycle, and constitutes SAP’s strategy toward integrating HCM functionality across talent management, core HR, and workforce management.
