SAP ditches annual performance reviews

A conventional relic, the annual performance review is dying, giving way to trigger-based performance management – a Nucleus prediction for 2016. By electing to ditch the annual performance review for its own employees, SAP is a major example showing the accuracy of this prediction. Notably, SAP uses its own technology, SuccessFactors, whose capabilities prompt and help managers to provide employees with continual feedback on work performance year-round.
