In looking at industry-specific trends in analytics, Nucleus found vertical capabilities could typically reduce initial consulting costs by 65 percent while accelerating the time to value by 57 percent. As competition and cloud options drive greater access to analytics, standalone vendors are increasingly challenged to show additional value or face pricing pressure. These vendors can differentiate themselves with investments in prebuilt vertical templates, capabilities, and support for best practices to shorten deployment time, reduce risk, and maximize value for customers.
