IO automation boosts staff efficiency

Although companies implement inventory optimization (IO) software to rationalize inventory and improve customer service, the application has an additional benefit: improved supply chain staff efficiency. In its analysis of IO deployments, Nucleus found that the automation of manual inventory settings and reordering processes can cut staff time conservatively on those two tasks between 10 and 30 percent.
