Moving from automated to the tactical stage of an analytic enterprise

As organizations deploy analytics, they go through significant evolutions. Business processes and employees’ work practices change as they increasingly embrace analytics as a way to make better decisions and look to incorporate more data into their analyses. Data management also changes as organizations acquire the capabilities to manage data, and access a growing variety and volume of structured and unstructured sources. Nucleus found this analytics journey could be divided into four stages: Automated, Tactical, Strategic, and Predictive. Nucleus has identified four initiatives used by these organizations to move from Automated to Tactical.
