Professional services customers are demanding prebuilt, industry-specific enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions which limit customization, lower initial deployment costs by 40 to 60 percent, and reduce ongoing support by 20 percent in some cases. Vendors are investing heavily to deliver solutions that speed customer time to value. To successfully compete, vendors must deliver solutions with capabilities that manage all stages of a project’s lifecycle from bid to bill.
