The future of supply chain design is ongoing

Companies have historically executed supply chain design projects on an ad-hoc basis to identify opportunities for cost savings. However, the advent of cloud supply chain design solutions offers them a much better alternative. In analyzing the experiences of supply chain design users, Nucleus found those taking advantage of the cloud could spend less than half of the typical cost of a supply chain project on an annual basis with a cloud solution. At the same time, the ability for continuous improvements enables them to reap four to five times the cost savings over the period of a year.
