Nucleus Research found that Microsoft SharePoint customers were able to reduce daily search times by 23 percent. Despite investments made in the enterprise content management (ECM) market, many still find products lack usability, with customers currently spending an average of 4.3 percent of their time searching for relevant files. We found that beyond user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) enhancements, Microsoft SharePoint Online’s cloud-focused approach, SharePoint 2016’s key advancements, and hybrid options combining both SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016 instances all move to close the usability gap.
