IBM purchases Kenexa to support a Smarter Workforce

IBM purchases Kenexa to support its Social Business and Talent Management offerings. Kenexa’s combination of talent management software, learning management system, social capabilities, and recruitment process outsourcing will help IBM answer the talent acquisition challenge provided by Oracle-Taleo and SAP-Successfactors acquisitions which will be enhanced by IBM’s considerable analytics, social software, and managed service capabilities. However, Nucleus also expects IBM will be faced with significant challenges by entering the highly competitive talent management space.
