Oracle expands cloud offerings

Oracle announced Oracle Database as a Service, Oracle Java as a Service, and Oracle Infrastructure as a Service at OpenWorld, extending Oracle’s cloud services portfolio with a focus on flexibility and control. Although the pitch is technically strong, Oracle missed an opportunity to show how its cloud business strategy is advancing as much as its technology.
