NetSuite Brings ERP and HCM Together

NetSuite is a cloud-based ERP provider that had traditionally addressed HCM through partnerships. With the announced acquisition of TribeHR, a cloud-based talent management solution, NetSuite is entering the HCM market as a primary vendor for the HR market. While NetSuite states that it will continue to position Oracle HCM for the enterprise market, and sell its combined capabilities to the mid-market, this situation is unlikely to persist in the long term. With the right scale and integration roadmap, a NetSuite hire to retire solution may be an attractive alternative for any organization given the potential breadth of features, usability, and cost.
