IBM Watson takes on the mainframe

IBM Machine Learning brings Watson’s machine learning functionality to the z System mainframe. Nucleus expects that IBM’s continued focused on data scientists will help to improve the productivity of this overlooked category of users. More importantly, having data science involvement will make IBM’s Watson solutions stickier, and will be a key component in its strategy to be a leader in the larger market of advanced analytics.
