As more and more personal data is collected, companies are challenged by the requirements of data security. Nucleus has noticed a push among security firms extolling the virtues of their software by pushing the value of secure data and the monetization that it represents to a firm. Nucleus questions, however, whether this service is being oversold, and if there is not a better use of a company’s limited capital.
