Talent mangement in the real world

March 8, 2018 - Research S46

Nucleus’s analysis of users’ experience finds that talent management creates two realities in the real world: bulking up and getting toned. One reality is all about automation and the very real bulk gains in productivity that come from it— as great as 75 percent in performance management alone, for example. More complicated, but just as real, the other reality has to do with talent management’s ability to remove impediments to the intentionality behind employees’ productivity. Under the first reality, gains in bulk add up to bigger financially quantifiable numbers in aggregate, but under the other reality the transfer of time to productivity is far more efficient, and organizations get toned.
