2012 Technology ROI Award Winners Show Highest Return on Investment in Programs Nine Year History

BOSTON – June 11, 2012 – Nucleus Research today announced the ten winners of its Ninth Annual Technology ROI Awards, highlighting organizations that have successfully leveraged IT deployments to maximize value per dollar spent. The 2012 winners had the highest cumulative return on investment to date, starting at 1,213 percent ROI.
This year’s winners highlight a trend toward higher returns on IT investments that has also been reflected in recent Nucleus reports.
“The move toward cloud-based solutions, along with the integration of social collaboration, mobile access and analytics is extending value of IT solutions and driving up ROI. We recently found an average of $5.60 return per dollar spent on CRM and $10.66 per dollar spent on analytics. This year’s winners are well above average, showing significant ROI and exemplifying how an organization can increase value from technology” said Ian Campbell, CEO of Nucleus Research.

- Carolina Realty Group for its deployment of Microsoft Office 365 with ROI of 1,213 percent
- Herman Miller International for its deployment of Infor with ROI of 1,988 percent
- Internal Revenue Service for its deployment of Saba Software with ROI of 8,993 percent
- Islington Council for its deployment of LogiXML with ROI of 6,504 percent
- Jolokia for its deployment of Internap with ROI of 5,306 percent
- Lumen21 for its deployment of BMC Software with ROI of 7,148 percent
- Mental Health Center of Denver for its deployment of Digitech Systems with ROI of 1,315 percent
- Parker’s Convenience Stores for its deployment of PeopleMatter with ROI of 1,242 percent
- Specialists on Call for its deployment of Microsoft with ROI of 2,417 percent
- StoneGate Senior Living for its deployment of Pentaho with ROI of 2,800 percent
Nucleus Research carefully assessed the costs and business benefits of technology implementations for each nominated organization to quantify ROI over a three-year period. The awards honor the top ten IT implementations, showing tremendous value per dollar spent.
