65 percent of supply chain execs use analytics

Six out of ten supply chain managers are turning to analytics to gain insights into their operations. A recent survey by Nucleus Research found that 65 percent of respondents use software for supply chain analysis, especially for demand planning and inventory optimization. For those not taking advantage of supply chain analytics, one third said that a lack of information technology resources was the chief obstacle in the way.
