Accenture grounds IoT with Altitude

Accenture expands into product development with the acquisition of Altitude on January 9. Along with another acquisition, Fjord, the team plans to drive innovative Internet of things (IoT) applications. Accenture looks to combine their decades of consulting experience with the product solutions of Altitude and the software design of Fjord. They will focus on goal-oriented, beginning-to-end design in order to first find the problems IoT promises to fix and then implement targeted solutions.
