Assessing automation and AI in recruitment

In the current tight labor market, the use of artificial intelligence and automation solutions in recruitment could provide a competitive edge for organizations that leverage the technology. The key benefits are the ability to match candidates’ qualities to that of previously successful employees and improve productivity by reducing time spent on screening candidates by up to 60 percent. However, given the high cost of implementations, the solutions as they currently stand are only useful for large organizations that process a large number of job applicants. Nucleus expects increased use of analytical capabilities in video interviewing and chatbot solutions in the future. However, how to efficiently obtain the large amounts of data necessary for machine learning remains a crucial challenge.
