Autodesk acquires Inforbix to extend its cloud PLM capabilities

By acquiring Inforbix, Autodesk has obtained a cloud delivery model for product data management (PDM) functionality that will help Autodesk get very close to being the first vendor to offer a true end-to-end multitenant cloud-based PLM solution. This offering will add value to companies willing to invest in PLM but not ready to purchase additional IT infrastructure.
