Death of a job board

Indeed’s continued market dominance over the past several years can be attributed to its strong brand recognition. The platform has been accessed by 250 million jobseekers and is used in some capacity by 3 million organizations. However, Indeed’s reputation is trending downward. What was once the go-to for jobseekers has become a wasteland of one-click applications and a cumbersome tool for both employers and applicants. Job Board startup, Talent.com, saw the opportunity to disrupt the space, which has since paid off with its recent $120 million series B funding round. Nucleus expects that Talent.com’s programmatic approach to sourcing and recruiting, and jobseeker-centric platform will enable the growing vendor to poach longtime Indeed customers and users patiently waiting for a way out.
