Oracle’s main goal is its continued overall business transformation towards a cloud subscription-based model. To that end, the vendor has focused on customer retention, specifically the migration of legacy customers from on-premises deployments to SaaS cloud deployments. Oracle retains a large legacy customer base, and as such has a strong market for customers as businesses look to move to the cloud.
