Highlights from IFS Industrial X Unleashed 2025
In November 2025, IFS brought together analysts, media, customers, partners, and product leaders in New York City for Industrial X Unleashed, showcasing how IFS Cloud is expanding with AI and robotics for asset- and project-intensive industries. Across the event, IFS outlined four significant partnerships and the acquisition of TheLoops as the foundation of this strategy. Through Anthropic, IFS is launching Resolve, an industrial assistant within IFS Nexus Black that utilizes Claude models to interpret work orders, technical documents, sensor data, and video, enabling technicians and planners to diagnose issues more quickly and plan work more intelligently. Partnerships with Boston Dynamics and 1X Technologies showed how mobile and humanoid robots will feed inspections, telemetry, and exception data directly into IFS.ai. In contrast, the Siemens partnership integrates Gridscale X grid planning with IFS asset management, field service, and capital project execution, enabling utilities to link grid models to real-world work and costs. IFS Loops filled in the agentic layer, with agents such as outage coordinators, plant reliability agents, and service recovery agents monitoring IFS Cloud data, spotting emerging risks, and triggering actions under defined guardrails.
