Hitachi Solutions’ Extended Field Service is an offering made up of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Field Service with extensions for many field service-specific tasks. In addition to the product, Hitachi outlines a 3-phased strategy that customers can use to develop their field service operations from the most basic level. The Hitachi plan aligns well with Nucleus’ model for achieving field service maturity. Companies who successfully execute this strategy can adopt an outcome-based service model to deliver increased value to the customer and generate a continuous stream of revenue for the vendor.
