Oracle acquires Tekelec

Oracle acquired Tekelec to strengthen its differentiated offering for communications service providers (CSPs) and improve its capabilities to deliver high performance cloud environments. Combined with the acquisition of Acme Packet, Oracle has quickly upgraded its telco capabilities in value-added areas to supplement Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent, and Ericsson infrastructure deployments.
