Oracle buys TOA Technologies

Oracle announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire TOA Technologies, a cloud field service application provider. The move fills a gap in Oracle’s cloud customer experience portfolio and gives Oracle another established cloud product and customer base to leverage. It also gives Oracle an opportunity to integrate field service with ERP and CRM, creating a new value differentiator in the era of the Internet of things.
