Predictive Big Data for business users: SAP to acquire KXEN

SAP has announced its intent to acquire KXEN, one of the few remaining independent predictive analytics vendors in the marketplace. This acquisition helps SAP catch up with the IBM SPSS acquisition of 2009, with similar challenges. It also demonstrates SAP’s continued efforts to simplify capabilities currently used in enterprise applications.
