Salesforce acquires Servicetrace pairing MuleSoft with RPA

Salesforce announced its acquisition of Servicetrace, a provider of intelligent robotic process automation (RPA), to pair with MuleSoft, its application programming interface (API) management and integration platform provider. With the addition of Servicetrace’s RPA capabilities, MuleSoft pairs its cloud and on-premises system integrations with control and automation layers bringing actionability to consolidated data flows. This extends MuleSoft’s value proposition as customers can leverage data to automate repetitive tasks, cutting costs and improving productivity. The addition of RPA also streamlines digital transformation initiatives as organizations with on-premises systems can benefit from workflow automation without the upfront investment required to overhaul legacy systems.
