Software AG’s acquisition of webMethods significantly expands its product offering, which will now include technologies for business process management (BPM), business activity monitoring (BAM), SOA governance, and SOA-enabled mainframe integration. Providing this kind of product breadth makes it easier for users to manage costs, simplify vendor management, and mature and broaden their SOA adoption.
