Enterprise AI returns value in proportion to the data it can reach, and most of that data sits in engines and clouds that will never consolidate. AI’s own infrastructure cost is eroding margins, which makes another multiyear centralization project the answer enterprises can least afford. At AI and Datanova 2026 in Miami, Starburst introduced the Enterprise Intelligence Platform as its response. The platform pairs the federated Trino query engine with AIDA, a generally available AI data assistant, governed context through AI-Ready Data Products, and open lakehouse automation through Managed Icehouse, delivering a projected 15 to 25 percent boost to data team productivity and up to 30 percent administrative cost savings.
