In the competition for talent, companies are increasingly finding that their technology can be a competitive advantage when recruiting and retaining employees. The challenge is in shifting top-down human resources processes, such as performance reviews and succession planning, to a bottom-up model, where each employee is evaluated as an individual on an ongoing basis. Leaders are increasingly leveraging collaboration, natural language processing (NLP), and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide managers and employees with a more continuous complete view of workplace talent – but still need to do a better job of making these innovations digestible for customers.
