An anonymous chemical manufacturer deployed Terra Technology’s Multi-Enterprise Demand Sensing and Multi-Enterprise Inventory Optimization (MEIO) software to reduce forecast error and rightsize its inventory holdings for its business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Nucleus found that those two applications working in concert enabled the manufacturer to reduce inventory holdings by $28 million. Not only did Terra Technology’s solutions lower the manufacturer’s bottom line and free up working capital, the use of those applications grew company revenue by a conservative assessment of at least $13 million through the positioning of the correct stock of its consumer products for sale at retail outlets.
