Most mid-size and large companies use at least two business software solutions that need to exchange information. Even though all business software vendors offer integration between their solutions and other systems, the means of integration can have an impact on the total cost of ownership (TCO) and the return on investment (ROI) of the solution. Integration can only yield benefits when it works properly and can prove to be a major challenge when it doesn’t.
