The Rise of Robotic Automation

June 10, 2021 - Research V96

The term has reached every corner of the globe. Conversations surrounding it are riddled with the mention of an automated world where machines handle everything from walking dogs to getting laundry or grocery shopping. These misconceptions around Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities are prevalent, with the general population becoming increasingly misguided. Although the technology is not quite at the degree of entirely replacing the workforce, deep learning subclasses such as reinforcement neural networks are seeing rapid adoption. As a result, some companies were able to expand their availability to IoT sensors by 95 percent, leading to more strategic robotic functions that align with a user’s business needs. These models have led to a significant expansion in robotic automation, resulting in enhanced organizational visibility, user productivity, and time saved.
